My students have learnt: "I am interested" and "It is interesting"
This is good- but now how do I get them to stop saying things like "I am lazied"!?!?!? What have I done to do this and how can I undo this!?!?!?! |

Atina,
do not worry about these mistakes it is common for students to move backwards and forwards in thier interlanguage development. When students first acquire a piece of language something they may have previously mastered will temporarily slip but return once everything has gelled in thieer mind.
Just continue to present proper usage to them and in time it will work out. |

Heheheh this is quite funny as one Teacher had mastered the art of telling her kids not to put the word "The" in front of peoples names.
She was no longer "The Bessie Teacher"
That was until I came into her class and asked "The Bessie teacher if I could borrow the scissors because The ****** teacher forgot his"
I never saw her soooooooo livid. |
