Bumyang (don't let the name fool you!) Panocean PP series air conditioner. I got this baby new and only used it for one summer. Works fantastic -- will cool down a 24-pyung apartment in no time and it won't raise your electric bill through the roof either. Comes with remote.

KRW600,000 and you can take it away.

Sharp FU-580K air purifier. Also works like a charm. You will not believe the dust and other crud in the air this unit catches. More filters than I can count, including HEPA and charcoal (I will throw in a couple of brand new replacement filters as well). Dust, odors, pollen, cigarette smoke ... this baby takes them all out! Comes with remote.

It's yours for only KRW160,000

Hiya,

I'm really interested in the air filter. Where are you located? I'm in Haebangchon.

Thanks.

The air purifier has been (tentatively) sold.

The air conditioner is still available -- and it's going to be a hoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooot summer!

I'm looking for an air cleaner for my place and was wondering if you could tell me here you bought yours. Also, how often did you have to change the filter? I looked at Lotte Marte and they had 2 types and I was told that one model required a filter change once every six months but the replacement filter was expensive at around 100,000 won and the other one required no filter change but was pretty pricey.

This one I got when Sanyo Korea ran a promotion introducing them; I bought directly from the company. I put about half down and paid the rest in monthly installments over a year, which included Sanyo sending out a technician to clean the filters and unit once a month, as well as two sets of extra filters. I'm not sure if they are still doing that program, but you could check Sanyo Korea's website and see. I've seen other Sanyo air purifiers in doctors' offices here, so I imagine the quality is high in general.

You're welcome. I went back to that thread and updated the links to the machines on a post. They had stopped working.

Yes, I am still interested. Can you email me with the specs on the air conditioner and a number I can call for additional questions?

Thanks.
