Sorry about that. I should've saved the reference for later retrieval.
It was some ps people talking about a handout for the entire year mentioning everything that is scheduled throughout the year -- midterms, semester breaks, other specials occurances, etc.
Mostly, I just wanted to find out what it is called so as to simplify my request at work for one. |

I was in on that discussion. I dont know what its called exactly. "School year schedule"? "School calendar"? Someone said it was included in a school publication in their school but in my school its just a 2-sided A4 printout. But the key fact is all the K-teachers have one & you should too. |

I don't actually know what it's called and have seen them in two formats, either inside a handbook, or else just a two page leaflet thing, one page for each semester.
Just found mine, and at the top is written (transliterated badly by me because my keyboard doesn't do Korean):
2008 hak nyeon do hak sa il cheong
Hope this helps.
I can't stress enough how much easier it makes your life once you know the information that's on it!!!
Edit: just to make it a bit clearer for pronunciation purposes: it's two words, i.e. haknyeondo, haksailcheong

Yes, I think that does help quite a lot. I'll ask for it by that name tomorrow. (Hmm. I wonder why no one thought to give me one of those when I started there back in November. joke.) |
