I mean, seriously! I was super ecstatic when the nearest Paris Baguette started carrying whole wheat bread as a new item a few months ago. But, when i came back from vacation, it disappeared. You'd think that a country that's so bananas over "well being" crap would lock onto the fact that white bread blows.
So, not being able to find whole wheat bread, the next best option is finding whole wheat flour and baking my own. However, the snag in this plan seems to be that i can't find it or don't know what the name in Korean is. The nearest i've found seems to be organic flour which appears to be bleached based on its snow white color. So what's a teacher to do?
Barring that does anyone know where whole wheat bread can be found? |

Well, "where the devil", is a much more polite expression than my actual inclination of: "Where the f*ck can a teacher get some godda*n whole wheat flour in this country?" Wouldn't you agree?
Well, according to Babelfish, this is what translates into whole wheat flour: "통밀빵". Whole wheat flour is this: "전체 밀가루". My coteacher confirms this. |
