If I'm on a F-4 do I need my actual degree in order to teach English?
I am receiving my diploma in June but, graduating this May. Any help would be greatly appreciated! |

I got a notarized letter from my University stating that I had met all requirements for a degree and at what date would I receive my actual degree.
The only problem was that my transcripts also did not state I was graduated either. Immigration opened my transcripts and told my recruiter they didn't have the last semester on it. From what I understand they DID have the last semester, they just didn't say I had graduated. Since I didn't get to see them, I really don't know what the actual deal was.
By that time I had been awarded my diploma and I sent it in with a finalized transcript.
I'm not sure how your University will handle the graduates regarding the transcripts, but if you get a recruiter they will help you out. |

Since you have the F-4 VISA, you do not need the diploma to satisfy immigration. However, you will need your diploma when you register at the local MOE as a teacher at a hagwon. For this, I'm not sure how lenient they are.
Also, could you make your avatar much smaller?

Yes, but the enforcement of this law is VERY VERY lax. |
