I just purchased an new laptop (LG R405-A) and after I did a clean install of the OS with a newly purchased english version of Vista Home Premium, the imbedded SmartCam stopped working.

I've looked everywhere for drivers and programs and have searched through various forums and non of it helps. I've seen if I pressed the fn+f10 button it will activate the cam. But all that does is bring up an info screen with nice graphs, and the button even says info on it.

Any help would greatly be appreciated.

I've tried the program with both the include one on the Korean disk and the one downloaded from the US site but still don't work. I'll try this one this weekend. I'll keep my fingers crossed.

Well, my webcam worked for a while on the weekend. But after installing a few more, non-webcam related, programs and a few more reboots it stopped working again. I'm at a loss as to why it did that.

I really don't use webcams that much, but it would be nice to know that I had that option opened to me, reliable and at anytime, instead of just hoping it will work at that time.

Aside from that, I really like the computer.
