I've searched for answers and found a lot of controversy, which is worrying, to say the least. Hense the request for facts.

Hopefully one of you reading this has been able to withdraw money with their KB maestro debit card in Taipei. I would be very greatful if you could tell me how or where.

Unfortunently, I have to say the above poster is probably right. Most foreigners are given cards with the maestro symbol on it and told it will work in order to avoid the problem of fighting over giving them a international card that works. Most banks refuse to give international bank cards to foreigners and if they do give them they usually don't work.

MY maestro and cirrus card would not work in America.

I used to have an account with KB but their Maestro ATM card never worked outside Korea. My KEB international ATM (VISA interlink & Cirrus), on the other hand, has worked fine in several different countries.
