Are you talking about Seocho-dong or Seocho-gu? The dong is a small area within the larger gu.
Seocho-gu is next to Gangnam-gu, one of the richest and most expensive areas of Seoul. The area around Gangnam station is close by and very busy with lots of bars and restaurants, but it can be expensive. Depending on where you are in Seocho-gu, you might be very close to the Han River and all the amenities there. There are also mountains nearby for hiking on the south side. Transport links are very good in the area too, with 3 subway lines, lots of buses and 2 express bus terminals. |
