My old standby, stage6 is no more. Crying or Very sad Does anyone know of other places to find high-quality videos (like divx, etc)? Veoh looks promising, but there isn't as much available there. I'm looking for somewhere I can download music videos, movie trailers, etc to use in class.

Both of those sites are *ok *but they just can't come close to the variety of quality videos that were available at stage6 (of course I appreciate the suggestions!). However, I have found a solution for hi-res movie trailers: get Quicktime Pro (legally or otherwise) so you can download any quicktime video on the net, then go to http://www.apple.com/trailers/ and pick and choose your trailers!

Of course you don't need the Pro version to watch the videos online--only if you want to download them to your computer. I do find that students are much more responsive / attentive when the videos on the screen aren't all pixelated...

I still haven't found a good site for hi-quality music videos. YouTube works in a pinch, and the torrent sites are better for full-length albums than videos. Any other suggestions?

I've been watching stuff on http://quicksilverscreen.com/ since stage6 went down.
