Okay I support Israel's right to defend itself against rocket attacks from Gaza.
What I don't support is the arrogance of those who think it is just fine to establish Israeli settlements in the West Bank.
By what right or what sense of decency does Israel do this? |

Because Israel has NEVER offered the ENTIRE West Bank to the Palestinians. They have always (according to the government's spokesperson) intended to keep some settlement blocs there as Israeli land.
And if I am not mistaken this came as a response to the shooting and killing of eight Israeli students, mostly young boys by a Palestinian terrorist.
Maybe they should stop shooting children and then the Israelis would lighten up? Just a thought... |

| Cbc is asking why they have settlements to begin with. Who had the genius idea to put them there to begin with? There is no justification for settlements whatsoever. |
