I have upgraded my PC and I have my previous one for sale. I upgrade every year so it's a year old:
AMD Athlon 1800+
768 MB RAM
80GB Hard Drive
GeForce4 AGP TV out Video Card
Samsung Combo Drive DVD/CD R/RW
Keyboard
Mouse
19 inch CRT Monitor
Preloaded with
Windows XP/SP2
Office 2003 Pro
Norton AntiVirus
All this for 300,000won

Are you sure it's a year old because according to this review your CPU was available in 2001 this "first look" review is October 15, 2001.
Looks like your gouging your potential buyers by about 7x the value. |

 Even if all of the hardware was bought new and built up a year ago, it is just as SH stated "quite dated and not worth too much." I had basically that same setup built in 2002 for around $1800, and sold it in 2005 for $200 in America. |

Oh wow. I misread the OP. With an 1800 in there the guy further down on this thread is right. More like 70k.

Bwaahaha, this was my dream machine back in 2001. I remember because the 1800+ was when I switched from Intel to AMD. I went from a P3 550 to the 1800+.
His statement IS true if you think:
2007 he upgraded his mouse
2006 he upgraded his keyboard
2005 he upgraded his optical drive
2004 upgraded RAM from 512 to 768MB
2003 Got Office 2003
2002 bought the original computer. |

Hate to spliff on your parade but this is the equivalent of a P4-1.6 and can be bought off the shelf and ready-to-go at the Son-in Plaza for 70k won, cash and carry.
~300k won will get someone a NEW, entry level core2duo machine with 1 gig of ram, 160gig HDD, GeForce 6x00 128mb video card, DVD burner and a 17" LCD monitor.

Depreciation isn't a valuation concept. It's cost allocation over useful life. Even PC's have residual value. |
