Budyoung Beach Resort. Right on the white beach sands. 1000 pesos per night, but off-season, it was 800 pesos instead (US$20). I read about it in the Lonely Planet, then asked a few of the trike drivers if there were better places to stay in Bantayan, and they confirmed that Budyoung was the best place to stay.

Location is great, right on the beach. Just step outside and take a swim in the clear ocean. Supposedly these white beaches are known for their shallow waters.

I'm in Santa Fe of Bantayan Island right now. If I compared it to Malapascua, the main difference is that there is a small town located right next to the white sand beaches, whereas in Malapasuca there isn't.

If someone searches for BANTAYAN ISLAND in the future, I MUST RECOMMEND this place:

TICKETY BOO BEACH RESORT!!

Every Wednesday-Sunday, they have LIVE MUSIC. In addition, they have a great bar/restaurant with pool, live music, and just a great ocean breeze! Feels great in the island humidity to have a great breeze (keeps the mosquitos away).

They also have rooms available at Tickety Boo Beach Resort. If I were to come back to Bantayan Island again, and I probably would over Malapascua for example, I'd stay at Tickety Boo Beach Resort near St. Bernards Beach in Santa Fe, Bantayan Island.

I stayed Budyoung Beach Resort, which has great white sand beaches, nearly ideal. But real hot and humid and sticky air at night. The restaurant is also hot and sticky and seems like swatting mosquitos. In other words, its a gorgeous place to be during the day, but a bit hard to enjoy at night! Tickety Boo Beach Resort was a great place to relax in the evenings!

Anyways, had a great time in Bantayan Island. Just writing this up in case someone searches for this island in the future.
