If they had these theyd have it all. Old school ffod. Hot chicken in gravy with potatoes type stuff. Ham steak. Hot hamburger I could go on all day.

With soup desert and damn good coffee.

I know the 3 Alley have bangers and mash but at 15 bucks and not very good it wont do. I think a business lacking in Itaewan (along with a travel agency reputable) is a good spoon.

If anyone has the funds to open one I'd be happy to manage it. Wink

I agree, but I'd be happy just to see a proper greasy spoon breakfast some around. I know a few places put on a Sunday brunch and/or serve breakfast, but come on...10 bucks for 2 eggs, toast, and some frozen hash browns?

I'm talking about a place like Pittsburg's 'Gab-n-Eat': 6 egg omlets, stacks of pankakes, home made hash and browns.

Kimbap Heaven, and the millions of dongass, and sashimi places ARE Korea's greasy spoons.

If you have a craving for the grease, hit the canteen at the USO. They have a diner with greasy breakfast, club sandwiches, fries, onion rings and a bunch of other stuff guaranteed to stop your heart from beating. It is located between Samgakji Station and Sookmyung University Station on the light blue line (4?). Anyway all are welcome, or they dont check IDs.

I was thinking of showing a picture of a really fat person, but I think that's sort of rude. This country does not need those restaurants, at least not in bulk. Maybe one or two Smile

I tried many times to convince Chili Chili's in Itaewon to start doing eggs, bacon, and home fries. Wouldn't be a stretch to throw that on their existing grill. A missed opportunity as far as I'm concerned.

We wandered Itaewon in search of a greasy breakfast at around 11 am often enough......

It's a no-brainer.

As someone already said (and I wonder why this is the option that always gets forgotten) hit the USO.
