Are they like Busch Gardens and Six Flags in terms of fast roller coasters?

Does anyone know what park this ride is from? It looks pretty cool:

Any other cool parks in Seoul besides these?

Lotte World looks like they have better rides.

Don't get your hopes up for either place. Everland is lame, but not nearly as lame as Lotte World. There is another lame park called Seoul Land as well. I use the word "lame" only as a comparison to the parks that you mentioned in the U.S. It's only relative of course Laughing .

Everland is not bad. No Six flags, but close.

For what it's worth the Atlantis Adventure ride at Lotte World is awesome, and there's a wooden roller coaster at Everland that has the distiction of having the steepest drop in the world. Never ridden the latter.

The amusement parks may not have as many great rides as back home but they make up for it with the shorter lines.

Took my girlfriend of the time to Lotte World. Left after walking around it. Awful and huge queues. Might be good if you're under 10 years of age.

Went to Everland a few weeks ago on a weekday with the lass. Had one of the best days in Korea yet. No lines, comfortable weather, and the girlfriend was a great sport and rode ALL the scary (read: fast) rides twice with me. The treats are well-priced (read: cheap) compared to western amusement parks, but being the aging young adults that we are, we were tired by 1 or 2, which was perfect as that is when the people starting showing up. Got a nice heffeinweisen (sp?) and some chicken for lunch, watched some seals do cool tricks, and then went and saw the monkeys (who are unfortunately living an area MUCH MUCH too small for them). Have a Korean friend or GF look online for special coupons and print 'em out. We went for 30% off.

Tried that new coaster at Everland in the weekend (T Express) - it rocks!

I agree with the previous poster though, you have to get there early if you want to avoid the worst of the queues. We got there at lunchtime and queued for about 70 minutes for the T Express. Can't say I was bored though, there were always things to look at, and if you're got someone saving your place in line you can go and get food etc.

They have a booking system called q-pass too, not sure how it works but it lets you jump to the front of the line. Knowing korea it might be an online thing

OP, go to Everland, it's a great day out
