I've read the previous dental threads but haven't found what I'm looking for. First of all, I have terrible teeth. They look aesthetically nice, but I constantly need root canals even though I brush regularly and floss 2-3 times a day.

That being said, I'm looking for an endodontist (someone who specializes in root canals). My dentist couldn't finish the procedure because the canals of my teeth are slightly curved and VERY narrow.

The following 3 universities are places my dentist recommended I try to get my root canal done, because they were big dental schools. Upon further research, I found none of them have an endodontics program.

Does anyone know a good endodontist? A general practitioner won't do. The last one I went to lodged a metal file in my canal and couldn't get it out. I finally got an endodontist from Portland's OHSU to extract it last year. I don't want to waste my time again.

I live in the Anyang/Gunpo area and would prefer a dentist near my home since I'll have to make 3-5 visits to finish the procedure. If nothing pops up, I'd prefer to travel to Gangnam as there's a regional bus near my apartment that will take me straight there in an hour. I have the national health plan, which will cover the root canal procedure. I'd then expect to pay 250,000 to 500,000 won for the crown.

I've been having a terrible time with my teeth lately and finally referred myself to an endodontist (pulp/nerve special-ist). I couldn't be more pleased with my experience. The office was clean and very high tech. The dentist speaks EXCELLENT English and took almost an hour to explain my problem to me, answer all of my questions, and lay out a course of treatment.

Thanks for the info! I just went to look at their website and there's a "star gallery," pictures of celebrities they've worked on. Uh-oh, I wonder what prices will be like. Well, you gotta do what you gotta do...
