Big stores or branded clothing outlets.

Said to be cheaper than the UK. They are my favorite shoe too, not much running in for me in Korea.

I hear you about Saucony. Despite many years of being sponsored by Adidas, I would always run in Saucony unless it was a race or the rep. was around. Just something special in landing and cradle....

I have bought them once at Fleet runner eshop. Delivery in the price but expensive. Last time I checked (4 months ago) they were out and waiting. Find the address by clicking the button at my running community (haven't been there for awhile! too busy but it is a place I set up so runners in Korea could have a solid community) http://runkorea.ning.com

Maybe also , someone there can help you. I also ordered very cheaply Saucony's from Zappos in the States and had club members from the military accept them for delivery (no overseas delivery charge for the military). I just returned from Canada with many new pairs, so I'm set!

Cheers,

DD

I just got a pair online at zappos.com. They had a wide selection.

That site doesn't ship to Korea.

Good tips. Thanks all. I have been laboring in a pair of Asics of late (like running in cement blocks).

what size shoe do you wear? i've had to have saucony shipped from the states because i wear 11 1/2. after a year of trying when i first got here, the largest size i was able to find was 9. buying through a vendor on amazon, having them shipped to your home, and then having someone mail them to you will cost roughly that same if not less than buying them marked up here anyway.

I wear a 10. I checked out the zappos.com site, like the poster suggested, but it makes me a little nervous buying a shoe without first putting my foot in it to see how it feels/fits etc. I had been using the cheaper 'Victory' series but I didn't see them listed at zappos (out of production?). So I will continue the hunt here in Korea (until I break down and buy a pair online Smile)

I've easily found New Balance in this country, in larger sizes too! (12, 13) Picked up a couple of pairs.

The runner's shoe.

I bought a new pair of Sauconys in downtown Daegu. Go to the Spris store or there's another store near Giordano's and Who A U?

Excellent. I am on my way to Daegu this week. Thanks.

VanIslander, I have heard good things about (but never tried) New Balance. If I can't find a pair of Saucony, I will look into NB.
