I'm having a real chill weekend, did some shopping in Seoul yesterday, scored some great shoes at Columbia Sportswear in Itaewon (on sale for 59,000, regular 98,000), watched some downloaded conan o'brien last night while eating a hamburger made from Costco-bought hamburger meat, washed my floor today and now have the windows open and drinking a Bud.
My parents emailed me some pics of Ottawa, man, the Winter there is unbelievable, the snow removal budget was used up by January, it's just nuts. I'm heading home in 4 weeks, and expect there'll still be snow everywhere.
But my point is, I love Spring (and/or Fall) in Korea, because the weather is just so tolerable and nice. There's a breeze, it's not too hot or muggy, the air is nice (at least for now, until the yellow dust comes). So anyway, how are all of you enjoying the season? |

So is the Costco-bought hamburger meat any good? Does it cost an arm and a leg? |

Can't remember the exact price, but you get enough meat for 8 nice big burgers, for maybe 14,000 won. It's Australian Beef, nice color, costs twice as much as the pale Korean kind. |

lol at Ottawa. Mom and dad said they just towed cars out of the way and left them on other streets. There's no place to put the snow.
The thing is...it's not even a record snowfall yet. |

The mountains here in Colorado have been pounded all winter.....especially on weekends (like clockwork!) when we want to go skiing. Snowpack is 150% of usual levels. No drought this year. I envy the ones who have the time to ski during the week. |

Last time I read it was the 2nd most recorded and they had a huge storm last weekend - 40 cm. |

The big difference between the end of winter here and in Canada (aside from the fact they are numerous months apart) is that, back there, all the snow from winter melts at the same time, and there's water and slush everywhere for a couple weeks. |
