| I have seen this done as part of oriental medicine. Glass cups have been put on peoples backs, and a suction of sorts induced so that marks are left on the persaon's back. Anyone know what this is. |

You can buy a small set of those at E-mart.
I had an ex-girlfriend who had that done on the side of her neck the week we broke up. I got really angry, and thought she had gotten a hicky (we were coworkers). A mutual Korean friend got a real laugh out of my expression when I said something about it -- she knew what it was actually from. |

| How does this relate to technology? Do they power computers? |

Actually, I had something very similar done. The woman pricked my skin all over with a needle, then stuck a bell on it and turned on a vacuum. It was supposed to get rid of "bad blood" due to a terrible, terrible soccer thing.
I have really gross pictures from it. |

I had Mistress Darkness apply some of them to my nutsack after she had bound it up.
I definitely recommended them. |

| I saw a travel documentary about 10 years ago and a guy had this done. He was in a lot of pain at first, then said the massage afterwards was exquisite. |

| The ones from E-mart have little nipple things on top for the suction device. How do they suck the air out of these? Heat them somehow? |

They attach a vacuum to it, a special machine made for the bells. |

| I really hurt my back once when I was bathing my daughter. Something near my tail bone snapped. I walked to the hospital hunched over like an old halmoni. I got acupuncture and got needles and a couple of massage suck things applied and straight after that I could walk properly again. |

This practice is as old as the hills and scientifically unproven. I often see women wandering round the sauna with huge red cupping marks. I sneaked a peek at a woman getting it done once. She was making a fair bit of noise and it didn't look like fun.
