Three year old Brandon Isaac Runstedler was abducted on June 4th, 2007 in Edmonton, Alberta. He was taken by his Korean birth mother, Sun Hi Kim (a.k.a Esther Kim; Gina Kim; Gina Yoon). Ms. Kim does not have legal custody of Isaac. Sun Hi Kim's mother, Jeong Ae Lee (uses the alias "Alicia") was also involved in the kidnapping. They currently are believed to be in the Itaewon area, where Ms. Kim may be working the juice bar scene under an alias.

Sun Hi Kim was born on August 27th, 1972. She is a Korean citizen from Itaewon, Seoul, Korea with long, straight black hair and brown eyes (blue colour contacts used occasionally). She is approximately 5'3 inches tall and weighs 110 lbs. Ms. Kim has a history of mental illness, violence and fraud and has an arrest record with the Edmonton Police Department. Formerly, Sunhi Kim was the proprietor of several questionable bars in Itaewon (Uncle Jack's; MGM; Glory; Blackjack). In 2004 "Uncle Jack's" had been placed off-limits by the U.S. Military due to evidence of prostitution and human trafficking. She is currently in hiding.

Isaac was born on January 24th, 2004. He has hazel eyes and brown hair and speaks only English. He was soley raised by his father, Steven Thomas Runstedler, for the last half of his life. Mr. Runstedler has legal custody of Isaac and is desperately searching for his son.

If anyone has information concerning the welfare and whereabouts of Isaac and Ms. Kim then please reply to [email protected].

So, the boy disappeared from Edmonton, and you believe that the culprit(s) have returned to Itaewon?
Have the police been involved? Have they confirmed that those two fled the country? Sounds like a desperate, terrible situation, and I hope this line of inquiry turns up something.

Thank you for your concern -- Yes, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs here in Canada has been working on it but it's been a lengthy process going through the proper bureaucratic channels. Considering the large number of people viewing these posts I thought it would be a good idea to get the word out using this forum.

Yes, pictures of the boy (and I suppose the woman in question) might help a bit.

What, the description of long, straight black hair isn't enough for you?

Do you have any larger pics of the lady?
