My friend from the UK here wants to apply for a CRC while here. Canadians and Americans are able to do so if they have an affidavit with their CRC. The Canadian and American Embassies will stamp it, have you sign it, then their stamp/seal acts as an apostille which is valid to the Korean Immigration officials.
Is this method possible with the British Embassy? I imagine it might be, but I'm not from the UK so I have no @&*!* idea. |

I contacted the British Embassy, they told me they can stamp a CRC and it will be considered to be apostilled by immigration.
I am currently in Korea but intend to get an apostille done through an online company, just in case I meet an awkward immigration official who for whatever reason may reject my CRC stamp from the British Embassy. |
