Can a person on an E-2 legally operate an online business from Korea?
It wouldn't have a Korean domain name (you can't have one unless you are Korean..as far as I'm aware), but it would be run from inside the country.
This is just a hypothetical question.
Another not so hypothetical question..can an E-2er do online lessons? Is that illegal? |

I know you can do work online from another company (like writing magazine articles, editing things, selling stuff on ebay, etc.). If you are not making the money in Korean won, it would be fine and if you received money from Koreans, you'd just have to get the payments sent to an account in the US.
I'm not an expert on this, this is just what I've read. |

I would guess it'd be fine as long as
1. The company is not registered in korea
2. No income is paid in Korea. |

If the business is run entirely in your home country, no one is ever the wiser. Although I'm not sure about the tax procedure ? |
