I've done this a couple of times. I just had my mom rip off the tags and write "used clothing" on the customs form. I didn't have any problems those two times, and there were no extra customs charges. I thought someone posted customs regulations on importing clothing recently somewhere here on the boards, though.
I've never actually bought clothing online before, however, just gotten my friends or my mom to buy stuff in Canada and then ship it. I imagine if you bought from an online retailer that they'd sort all of the customs out. You may have to pay a duty on it, depending on how much you spent, when you receive the parcel. |
