I read something very interesting. The name of the site escapes me, but it explained how average Korean ESL Salary was 2.5 Million Won per month. I went on to say that Teachers can also earn up to $6000 US if they are willing to do overtime!
... Just how much overtime is that? Have you ever managed it? |

Look at it like you would any Westen employment ad which reads "Employees can earn up to 100,000 per year". You really think you will? |

So True..... My last job in the states (wilderness therapy - senior instructor) advertised that you could make up to $195 a day for the position I was in. I started at $125 a day and was making $135 a day after a year. The most senior person in my position, with over 3 years with the company, was at $145 a day (and not an under achiever by any means). So at that rate it would take like 15 years to get to the top pay bracket - and no one, I mean no one, is going to work that job for 15 years. |
