Is it possible to use x-box 360 games bought in the US with a Korean x-box 360?

Only if you get the X-Box modified. I believe the games are region specific.

^ Rubbish

If the games are region free then yes you can use them. If they are coded for the US then no you can't

Getting the box modified WILL NOT make it region free.

You can play Asian, NTSC-J and region free games on a Korean 360.

I own a Korean X-box. All the menus are in English. I have purchased 6 games from Techno Mart which all have English menus (COD4, Mass Effect, Gears of War, Elder Scrolls 4, Virtual Fighter 5, Dead or Alive 4). To this point I have heard rumors that a game called Forza Motor Sport wouldn't work on the Korean box, but who wants to play that sheite anyway. You can also play Xbox Live and connect to US players even though at times the lag can be overwhelming, but not always. There are a ton of English players who live in Korea and play local matches. Other than that, there is very little that makes the Korean version different from the US one.

P.S.
For anyone who doesn't know, the reason is because when you see it you'll turn 360 degrees and walk away. Razz

If you turn 360 degrees and walk you'll be walking towards the Xbox... Razz
(Unless you're making the joke that anyone serriously considering the Xbox over the PS3 is an idiot... which I would agree with, lol)

I love it when people rag on the 360...they always make comments about how the "PS3 is going to be much better soon" while I've been playing the best console titles on the market for 2.5 years.

By the time the PS3 hits full stride, the next gen will be in the works.

Look at this, it's beautiful. Even though I telegraphed it someone still bites. I tell you, this is the most bulletproof trolling device of all time.

By the way, allow me to show you how this works with an elegantly pixelated visual aid:

There are some really good sites on the net where you can download xbox 360 games, if you've got a decent isp connection. of course you'll need it modded.. as in you will need to get the firmware changed on the dvd drive. And, in addition you will need a computer with a dvd writer, software ( clonecd or dvd decryptor) and the proper media to burn those games. Its quite simple once u get the hang of it.

I do all my burning using my computer, although there are some places in yongsan that will do it for a reasonable price.

www.torrentleech.org is one site that has a HUGE collection of xbox 360 games. anyway.. good luck.. anyone who has a modded xbox 360 and is lookn for games not available in Korea, pm me and i'll point you in the right direction.

cheers
