Hi all,
I'm pretty new at this all as - hagwons, laws, and teaching in general.
I have only been in the country teaching for two months and already I have encounted a few major hic cups with my hagwon.
If I want to leave my hagwon but continue to teach in south korea what do I need to do?
I have been told I need to have them sign a waiver releasing me from my contract if I am to be allowed to re-enter or continue to teach in the country. After that, then what?
Do I have to leave country to re-enter on a new visa? Or can I transfer to a new hagwon?
Are there any websites that can help me? Or even immigration bodies?
Cheers. |

I've heard of people transferring but if you're leaving on not-so-good terms you'd be way better off to get your visa cancelled, leave, and come back. You likely don't want to have your future employer having to deal with your present one. |
