Twice a week I have a 45 minute class with about ten 13 year olds... and I have no idea what to do with them. The book I have to work with consists of a few short stories, but I can't expand on them at all. For example, last week it was "what does the wind do." It was three paragraphs and that pretty much summed it all up. I would normally just play a vocabulary game or something but they don't have any vocabulary to work with. I asked my Korean coworkers about it and they said I should just give them crosswords or make them do dictation tests. The problem is, the kids are there for 3 hours, from 7 to 10:10, and I would kind of like to make it fun for them. If you have any suggestions at all please let me know. They are a good group, and their english is decent enough that they can tell me what they did on the weekend and have a bit of a discussion.
