I was in Insadong yesterday and walked by some batting cages. Wunderbar. My question is, however, must one bring one's own bat? Anybody been to this place before? Thanks |

I guess you can if you want but they do have bats there - pretty bad ones though. |

If I remember correctly, it's 500 won for 10 pitches. The bats there suck. The machines aren't great either.
Additionally, there are some batting cages midway between Shinchon Station and Ehwa Station. I have never been there though. And if anyone lives in Incheon, there are some close to the amusement park on Wolmido Island. |

True. I never batted before but after a few hit attempts I was hitting like Barry Bonds,
Each machine has got the speed written on it and the name of the famous Korean pitcher whose throw it is supposed to replicate. |

Thanks for the info. I don't give a crap about quality (for now). I haven't been for about 10 years, so I can endure for the time being. |

Last time I was there I remember losing the handle on a few bats (the tape on the is horrible) and had them fly all over the place.
There is a batting cage by my work in Daegu with the same type of bats - I am planning on giving them a new tape job soon. |
