I'm in the states. Leaving for Seoul mid June. I need a phone plan that will allow me to make 5 or 6 calls a month back to the states during my stay in Korea. Should I buy a world phone or blackberry or just wait and get a phone and plan upon arrival? Any insight will be appreciated.
Thanks |

Cell phones here are cheap and you can buy an international calling card to call Canada or the states. My card is $10 and it gives me 200 minutes to call Canada.
BUT I highly suggest that you download skype and get the people back home to download it too. It's free and you'll be able to talk as long as you want over the internet and see each other too! |

Just buy a good calling card and use a school landline to make the call. |

It was just incredibly large. This topic has been done to death. No phone you buy there will work here. You'll have to buy a cell phone here--new phones are running for like...$60 these days with no long term committment and a contract of $13-30 a month. Long distance-I just buy a $10 calling card at the local 7-11 and it's good for over 200 minutes. |
