Hi all,
I'm actually teaching in Vietnam at the moment but I looking at going to Korea in the future.
I'm in my 30's and took the big risk of giving up a career path to follow my heart and travel. As someone who is always mindful of my future, I'm looking at the different options available to me. After teaching for a year now, I realise it's definately for me. Without sounding egotistical, I believe I am quite a good teacher, with older teenagers through to adults.
Ok, now that i have got my TESOL certificate, my BA and a very good professional CV, I'm just wondering if it is worth pursuing any further study. I thoroughly enjoy teachinug adults and students at university level. I'm currently doing a little bit of IELTS teaching and although I'm learning as I go, I'm really enjoying it. Therefore, what do you think? Is it worth furthering my studies? If so, any advice as to what i should study or any career advice would be appreciated.
Thanks!!! |
