Hey all,
I am looking for a way to look up my Nong-Hyup bank account online. I just want to check my balance and see what is beind debited and credited in my account.
I tried going to the english version of nong-hyups site, but it wasn't very helpful. anyone have any ideas? has anyone navigated the korean site and was lucky enough to have their account accessible?
thanks in advance for the help. |

Did you signup for internet banking at the bank? If you did you have like 3 or 5 days to access your account online from the day you asked to sign up, and you should have gotten some kind of card with a bunch of number on it and a userID.
Go to the english and click on "Certificate Center"
Then to "Issue a Certificate", then follow through all the instructions. |

If you just want to check your balance and don't want to make any transactions, then you don't need the certificate and can just log in with username and PW IF you signed up for online banking. |

As people said, you need to sign up at the bank; then do the "issue certificate" on you PC.
Finally I found that I have to use IExplorer and not Firefox. I think Firefox has some inherent sacurity features that make most Korean websites gag. And once you do gain access to Nonghyup, everytime you change webpages it will ask you to approve a "Ahnlab scan". Ahnlab will freeze an English Vista operating system, so I always have to decline that Ahnlab scan.
Good luck,
