I'll be leaving for Korea soon and just have some questions about adapters. The only two electronic items that I want to bring are my laptop and my hair straightner. I'm just not sure if I need a plug adapter (so that the prongs will fit into the Korea outlet), or do I need a converter. On my hair straighter it says that its 125/250v and my laptop is 110/240v. Does this mean that I just need the plug adapter or do I still need a converter. I would hate to ruin my laptop. Thanks.

In both cases you just need a simple plug converter so they will fit into the round plugs. They are available here for about 500 won each.
