I just formatted an old hard drive. I want to install Office 2003, I have the CD but my computer won't read the CD....I think the CD drive is not working properly.
Anyway, is there anywhere on the net i can download a free version of office. I just want basic...Word, Powerpoint, etc.
Any advice? |

Download OpenOffice.
It will do the job you want and there is no need to steal. |

| Just download a fresh one. The one on the other drive is more likely than not, stale. |

?????????
It is not bread. You can't just move it from drive to the other because it has saved other files outside of its main directory. It is installed in windows already..right? |

| I believe you need the executable file to install office. Follow the advice of the above poster and use open office. it is free and compatible with office files. |

Cheers...I have found the OpenOffice.org site. Seems like the easiest solution.
Is there anywhere in Yongsan that I can buy a new CD-R/DVD-R drive?
Is there a place that is good, can anyone recommend anywhere?
Also what would be the price range?
I have only been to Yongsan to buy a camera and meet some geeks, never to buy computer gear. |

You can buy them anywhere in yongsan. The I-Park mall, outside, any of the buildings, basically anywhere.
DVD-R drives should run about 20,000 won whereas a DVD-Multi (burner) is only 30,000ish.
