From the Korea Herald. Check the 2nd to last paragraph for evidence:

Suspect admits third murder

The suspect in the gruesome murders of two elementary school girls in Anyang, Gyeonggi Province, has confessed to killing a woman who went missing in the same area, police said on Saturday.

"Jeong stated that he threw the body of a 44-year-old woman, also surnamed Jeong, in the sea near Siheung after killing her at a motel in Gunpo," said an official at the investigation's headquarters at the Gyeonggi Provincial Police Agency.

Jeong was a key suspect at the time because he talked with the woman on the phone four times after she was reported missing in July 2004.

Police cleared him, even though he failed a lie detector test. He had denied the charges, saying he contacted her as a professional driver, according to police.

Late last week, the 39-year-old suspect reversed his statement during his interrogation, after he was arrested earlier last week for the murder of two young girls. Lee Hye-jin and Woo Ye-seul, aged 10 and 8 respectively, went missing on Dec. 25 last year.

Police are investigating whether he is involved in the cases of four other women who disappeared in Gyeonggi Province between December 2006 and January 2007.

One of them was found buried in a hill in Ansan. The others are still missing.

The suspect confessed to the murder of the two schoolgirls.

The dismembered body of Hye-jin was found buried in a hill in Suwon on March 11, while part of Ye-seul's body was also found on March 18 following his confession.

Police conducted on-site inspection on Saturday for about three hours at places where he claimed to have dismembered their bodies and buried them.

Police said that Jeong murdered the two girls after sexually abusing them.

"Jeong was drunk and hallucinating after drinking two bottles of soju (Korean liquor) and sniffing glue to deal with being alone on Christmas Day," said the investigation official, citing statements from Jeong.

"After he sexually abused the two girls for about an hour, he killed them in his bathroom, out of fear that they would report him."

Meanwhile, President Lee Myung-bak stressed the need to devise a system to protect schoolgirls, in a policy briefing at the Ministry of Gender Equality on Saturday. He also said that the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology would work to implement "after-school education," especially in underprivileged areas, to create a system for schools to take charge of kids left unattended after school hours.

"How to protect school girls is an issue that worries schools and parents, but we also need to think about how to draw up institutional measures (to protect them)," he said.

So, what the new prez is saying that, although we foreigners are generally considered to be drug-crazed, sex-starved pedophiles who got our jobs with a fake diploma and are on the run from the law back home, we're still a better choice to take care of Korean children than the local blokes?

Wow. Just...wow.
