I sure like this so far. I've always been a bit envious of the look of Safari on the Mac -- the clean fonts, etc..

I've downloaded the Windows version, and it is quite a bit faster than Firefox.

I've been so happy with Firefox I haven't even looked at anything else. Does it have tons of skins and plugins like Firefox? If so I might be persuaded to take a look.

I just got into it myself. It's faster, but haven't found tabs... may not have 'em?

Seems it illegal to install Safari for Windows on a Windows machine!

I'm a convert. I'm not a fan of firefox. Since the glory days of netscape, for 7 or so long years I've unfortunately been using Iexplorer.

Although, one thing I want is that d@mn dropdown option on the address bar.

Well, I see that as of this morning, my wife's QuickTime installation prompted an install for Safari as a part of the QT "update."

Sneaky.

I've been getting that noise too.
Is it really worth the download? I'm not too keen on any browser I can't open tabs on using the middle mouse button. Razz

The big bug everyone is complaining about is that if you don't have Firefox or Opera pre-installed before you load Safari, then Shockwave doesn't work, because there is no direct Shockwave download from Adobe yet. Safari on Windows isn't supported by Adobe yet. Oddly, if you have already installed Firefox, then Safari will grab the files necessary from Firefox automatically.

Actually, I ran into this on my wife's computer. I then installed Firefox, and Safari was able to steal a copy of the correct shockwave files after that.
