Some of my friends are telling me that you can only go for a visa run to Osaka..... I'm flying to Fukuoka tomorrow morning.
I've heard two people say only North Americans can go there for the E-2 visa run. I'm a NZer, and have taught in Korea previously.
Anyone want to set my mind at ease? |

Sadly, I don't believe so. Those were the days. |

You should be okay as long as you have completed 10 months of your previous contract. Immigration has stated that people who've already had a previous E-2 are still to be allowed apply for a new E-2 visa in a third country, but according to some people, immigration has yet to officially confirm this, immigration does not consider on their system until you have completed at least 10 months of your previous contract. |

My school sent two teachers to Fukuoka last week. If it makes you feel better, I can scan my 2 week old Korean work visa which shows the issuing location as FU. Your friends are misinformed. |
