So I just counted my working hours and told my director that im working 31 hours and that he owed me overtime the next payday. Immediately afterwards, he conveniently tells me that my night classes are being cut for one month while the students prepare for some sort of test..... Oh well, atleast i got 40,000 won out of the cheap skate. |

My ol hagwon pulled a similar stunt, except it was a class in the middle of the day (gave it to the korean teacher, poor thing...) so it had no effect on my arrival or departure time unfortunatly. |

Does your contract have some time stipulation that one teaching hour = 60 min? Although the classes are 45 min long? I got screwed on that one in my contract. Make sure you go to tax office to make sure they are paying your taxes and that you get a refund back. I found out I havent paid for 3 years! |
