Anyone recommend a not so expensive, simple but clean hotel up on Sukhumvit Road bewteen Soi 7 and Soi 14?

What about good pubs in the area? Any new or interesting pubs up on Sukhumvit Road that can be recommended?

It's been a while since I've stayed up there.

Also, is the best mall (or one of the best) in town still MBK?

I always liked the PB, up soi Grace and back a bit, 550 a night at last check. Miami is a dive, but cheap as well. The grace is still my favourite in that area though, and the chicks in the basement are three holers. Be sure to check out the Iraqi restaurant in Little Arabia for the best kebabs and shisha you can find.

Stay at the Miami and get a takeaway from Thermae or a freelancer from the street.

Miami is the pits but any whoremonger should stay there at least once.

The Nana is good value for money as is the disco.

If you are planning on extra company though you need to check and see what the hotels say about it.
