I think Seoul were very very lucky to sneak a win. Seoul were outplayed in all areas but at times it was like 12 v 11 with the awful refereeing. |

Interesting opinion, so you got to see the game in England then eh? |

FC Seoul seems to have completely given up on the Hauzen Cup, which is pretty stupid in my mind. There is about an 80% chance that Korea will get another place in the asian champions league and the hauzen cup winner will take that place. A 0-2 loss to a Jeju side meaning that in 5 Hauzen Cup games, Seoul has exactly 0 goals.
And what do you know... Suwon wins again That makes it 14 in a row, 12 wins and 2 draws. Keep it up! |

No of course not, I was simply using the Warnock defence. |

I'm quite happy that Gunes is prioritising the league over the cup. On Wednesday he rested 9 players from the Incheon game. Its really paying off for us in the league as we're doing much better than last season. We had a good cup run last year getting to the final but it came at a cost. I'm glad that all the focus this year is on the championship. As for the champions league? Well I'd rather us put all our eggs in one basket and see how well we can do. Suwon can have the mickey mouse cup |

Don't get me wrong, rest is great. Cha gives our players rest when they need it, but he doesn't give it to all the players at one time. Gunes owes it to the fans, if anything, to at least put a competitive squad out there.
Are you blaming last year's fact that you couldn't score a goal to the fact that you were trying so hard to win the Hauzen Cup??? Suwon has a healthy lead in the Hauzen Cup while putting out a good team each time and I don't think that we are paying the price for that in the league. Unless of course you think that Suwon should be more than 7 points clear at the top...
I have no problems with you, as you seem like a stand up guy, but I really hate Gunes. The guy has no people skills and thinks he is gods gift to korean football. His translator on the other hand, she is definitely someone that I could get along with. |

I'd put last seasons lack of goals down to poor finishing. I wouldn't know exactly what impact the cup run had on our league form but all I know now is that we're doing much better in the league. I'm happy for the cup to slip away. Its just like the league cup back in England, the top teams all put out reserve sides for it because its not a priority. Suwon are managing to do well in both tournaments but the truth is they have a better team. Will be interesting to see if they can sustain that all season.
Also I'm interested to know why you think Gunes has no people skills, etc? I've never seen any interviews with him in English. And yeah his translator is rather nice. |

FA Cup 1st round exit to Goyang Kookmin Bank. I must say, no matter what squad you put out there, that is quite sad. Suwon tried to lose, but at least we pulled our heads out.
I am not a Gunes fan because on the few occasions that I have tried to interview him, he has completely ignored me. I think it is that fact that it is always after a defeat to Suwon that puts him in that mood. But of all the managers in the K-League, nobody has treated me like him. The guy is an un-happy *beep*. Maybe that is why I take so much joy in watching FC Seoul lose. |
