The South Korea v North Korea game is scheduled for June 22nd. Does anyone know if this will definitely go ahead in Seoul, or will it be played in Shanghai? Also, are tickets sold through Hana Bank?? I'd love to see this game (not for the skill but the occasion). |

North Korea asked FIFA to move the game because of "security concerns." South Korea responded by saying that many events have been held in South Korea involving teams from the North and there have not been any incidents. FIFA refused to move the game.
More than likely, North Korea will boycott/forfeit the game at the last minute. They cancelled their involvement in the World Championships of Hockey C Level held in Mok-dong last year because a game was scheduled on Kim Jong-il's birthday. |

My money is on them using some political event like a scheduled war game practice to "blame the USA" for them having to pull out and not play. |
