Larry Ferlazzo, an ESL teacher in the States (California) and a guy who has a super blog -- has asked me to find an Asian high school class that might join their new collaborative adventure of "sister" classes from around the world.
I'll be asking the few teachers I know who might fit the bill but if you know of a Korean class that is tech savvy enough to participate , please contact Larry through his page at EFL Classroom. His blog entry is on the main page. The site is at http://esleflstudents.edublogs.org/ Here's what he wrote....
ESL/EFL teachers from seven countries (Kuwait, Brazil, Argentina, the United States, Sudan, Hungary, and Romania) have brought our classes together online to correspond and to develop joint projects. You can see some of the first efforts by our students in their introductory slideshows, VoiceThreads, animated movies and videos at our Student Showcase.(http://esleflstudents.edublogs.org/) Feel free to leave audio or written comments on the VoiceThreads, and written comments on the blog itself. Your students are welcome to do the same.
Were also open to other teachers of Intermediate English classes comprised of 14-21 year-olds joining us. You can leave a comment or contact me (or any of the other teachers who are now participating) directly if youre interested.
