Ok I've gotten tons of great information here, but I HATE the search function on this website. I need to get a Korean driver's license. Could someone please tell me where the office (from the subway) in Gangnam is? Also, are they open on Saturdays? If so, what are the hours?

I appreciate the help.

Samsung st Exit 1, go straight and turn right just before the bridge.. follow signs for Gangnam police station. Take your home license (assuming you're from UK / US / Can, think there are a couple more hoops for other licences) and passport photos to the first counter upstairs and be ready to deal with a few forms and take the sight test in the other building. You have to buy money stamps downstairs at some point too. They have English speakers somewhere in the building, even if they arent on the international desk. If you're applying from scratch i'm not sure the deal, or if they open on saturdays. i got there about 4ish on a weekday and they dealt with it same day, walked out with the card in about 45 minutes.

Great advice. Thanks for the reply. Does anyone know if they're open on Saturdays? And, if so, what are the hours?

Location:
front page, banner at the bottom, introduction, way here:

The hours should be 9-5, M-F and 1/2 day Saturday BUT

you can also call 1577-1120 and confirm the info BEFORE you travel.

If representative is not available, we will memo customer's name, reason for call, date and time of the call, whether or not return call is needed, telephone number, etc. and relay it. If the customer requests for a return call to the requested number during requested time within three working hours.
