I just love cars in Korea especially four door sedans with spoilers - those really get me excited.

Anyhow I was walking around earlier this week and snapped a shot of this muscle car - wouldn't you love to own this car in all it's glory?

Maybe it belongs to the owner of this building.

Hey, there's room for rent in that building. Why don't you set up a hagwon in there?

By the way, I didn't know that McDonald's delivered?

It's pretty bad when you do it to a Honda, but come on....it's hard to make a Hyundai or Kia any worse than they already are....pink, grey, orange, same POS car

What you have there, Superhero, is more properly called a "tuner car" - and a poor one at that.

THESE are Muscle Cars:

Just imagine driving that '68 Camaro in downtown Seoul and gunning the engine... the locals would crap themselves!

Koreans do vintage alright, except it started in 1985 with their ecobox Hyundais.

*cough*

I was referring to the engine sound itself. The deep throaty rumble & roar of 8 high-compression American cylinders. The sound of air being sucked into that massive blower. All that classic Detroit goodness. Etc.

You don't see many muscle cars in Seoul. a) gas prices b) no chance you can drive them fast for very long. You do see some high end sports cars in Gangnam, mind you. But very few "rice burners".

I have seen a Ford GT40 in Seoul. I live in the exact area that you mentioned. Ferrari, Lamborghini, Porsche, Masarati and blah blahs are seen on a daily basis. I think in technical terms these would be called "exotics". Muscle cars would be like my 1975 Camaro with a 396, 4:11 gears, Hurst tranny, etc... that I had in high school. I drive a tuned and tweaked Tiburon here Laughing .

Oh contrare! Have you seen the way they dress (the K-dudes especially)? It's quite vintage straight out of the 1980's US style.
