I can get an online form printed out from my state, and getting the figerprints done is about as long as getting an FBI check. what have other people used to complete the current requirements? |

well that's part of the new requirements. I am getting a lot of different answers, and want to know what I should be taking care of. |

You'd be better off getting a job in America, IMHO. |

hes trying to be unhelpful. hes got a lot of time on his hands.
your online CBC will be enough, there are people on here who have completed it that way and didnt even need fingerprints. you have to create a form showing that the CBC is authentic. do a google search for online check and esl cafe and the right threads will probably come up with all the instructions. |

i had a county level check.
all i had to do was walk into county sheriffs office, fill out a form asking for a background check, and receive the form back stamped "no record found". it cost a quarter but they didn't have change for a dollar so it was free.
if i had to speculate as to why they would accept this, i would say that the koreans may misunderstand how easy, and thus meaningless, it is to get any document apostilled |

Your state Crime Bureau will issue a Criminal Record Check.
Google and telephone, get the certified version. It takes one week.
Send this document to the Secretary of State in your state.
Google and telephone, they will issue an Apostille to coincide with the certified document. Takes one week.
Both applications can be found on the respective web site and printed from there.
This worked for me. |

I'm sorry, whats your advice?
From what i can see, my state will only apostillize certain documents, and I dont know whether they would accept something online. i guess there's only one way to find out thouth....... |

they will only apostille documents that have been notarized and certified by a clerk of the court. im pretty sure any document you can have notarized can be apostilled, and you can get just about anything notarized. |
