Hey,
Don't know many people who would have need for one of these, but I have one to unload...
As you can see, it's a female hanbok. I'm about 5'8" and an American size 8. It was tailored specifically to me. I went to the warehouse and chose the colors, patterns, embroidery, etc, and it was made for me in a few weeks. The details on it are very pretty.
It comes with what you see in the picture, the petticoat that goes underneath it, and a small blue purse that matches the top in color. It's never been worn, except to take the pictures below. Everything is undamaged, though the petticoat could use some ironing, but the boxes and bags that the things came in have taken quite a beating from being moved several times.
I'm open to offers. These things are quite expensive, I'm told, but I'm not really looking for a huge windfall from this. I'd be thrilled with 100,000 won, but I will certainly take offers below that too.
Thanks for looking. PM me here if you're interested. If you can't, I will PM you.

I have a few questions regarding hanboks.
How much are they new? Does the blue colour mean that you are married? |

I asked the price question a few months ago, you might want to look at that thread.

Don't know about the blue color. I recently had one made and kept saying I wanted purple. He kept steering me to these bluish purple colors. He finally told me purple is a funeral color.
I know historically brides wore a red skirt and a green jacket?
(BTW, I found the prices quoted in that thread to be higher than I had to pay for quality silk done to my measurements, but I went to the market known for hanboks and had a referral from a friend's wife's mother, who used to make hanboks. So I don't think my price was standard.) |
