Haneul and Iseul just turned one on Saturday. I've wanted to introduce more Korean foods into their diets for a while, but I never paid much attention to what Korean babies ate while I was there.
Both girls love sticky rice and they will eat kimchi that has been rinsed off. They love tofu, Korean pear, and a few other foods we have tried with them. My husband is very clueless about what Korean babies eat as well.
So I'm hoping that all of you can share ideas of Korean foods that would be appropriate for a one-year old. I want to start making more meals that all of us can eat together--even if that means I have to eat more mi-yuk gook. |

They will eat anything as long as it's not spicy. |

My 15 month old eats whatever we are eating. If it is spicy, I just rinse it off for her first. She loves kongnamul gook, miyuk gook, dwenjang gook, dalk jjim, dduk kook, bokumbab, kimbab, and anything with noodles. I usually make separate broth for her with tangs etc, because she likes to eat by herself. |
