Where is the best place to start when sight seeing Chungju Lake? I went to Chungju ferry port and it only did a short journey in a circle.

I would like to see the Danyang 8 sights in particular. Is it best to start at Janghoe? Any info on this subject would be much appreciated. Thanks

Don't have much time to look it up, sorry, but maybe you can glean something from tour2korea: http://english.tour2korea.com/03Sightseeing/DestinationsByRegions/Depth04.asp?sight=Sightseeing&sightseeing_id=236&ADDRESS_1=40084&ADDRESS_2=39711&konum=1&kosm=m3_1

Looks like you can get a bus/cab from Danyang to Dodamsambong . . . that was the site I most wanted to see.

I went to Danyang last month, but didn't do any cruises since the water was frozen. Danyang is pleasant, though, and if you go there I recommend Gosu Cave and Guinsa temple, which you can do in the same day. Gosu Cave is a 10 minute walk from the terminal, and there are regular buses to Guinsa. Gosu Cave took about 2 hours total (walking there, touring, walking back) and was a really nice experience.
