It's been a couple of weeks and I'm not sure what to think. I'm still not sure what I saw. Not a big X-Files guy and I definitely wouldn't agree with Mulder about his views. But..

I was online and took a break. My computer is right in front of my window and I looked outside. At this time, I saw two things which I would describe as silver orbs that streaked by. Took maybe 2-2.5 seconds. These things were completely synchronized. Whatever they were, they were flying in close formation and it seemed like they were just gliding(but with speed). I peered out the left part of my window, where they should have been, and they were gone. That fast.

I live about an hour and a half south of Seoul. The area is more rural. The weather on that day was nice, blue sky, afternoon, hardly any wind. The orbs or balls of silver were travelling above the traffic lights, so it was not anything like a car or something on the ground. They also weren't balloons or anything because they were to synchronized and it seemed that they had their own propulsion system. The way they just whipped along and raced through the sky, I can still see it. Plus, as I said, hardly any wind that day. It also wasn't at night, so things like reflections from car lights, etc. aren't relevant.

It was just freaky that it happened so fast and now I can understand why people have such a hard time getting photos of these things. Even with a camera, no way I would have been able to get a shot in time, as I said the whole event lasted about 2 seconds or so they were gone. Middle of a nice afternoon. In Korea, of all places. It would have made a hell of a photo.

Since that time, I've looked out of my window, hoping to find perhaps a natural cause or maybe something that can duplicate what I saw. I can find nothing that would explain it. So, in all,

A) Happened on a nice day, blue sky, sunny
B) silver orbs or balls(2 of them, perfect formation)
C) Just jetting through the air, like a surfer on a wave
D) Very quick. Maybe 2 seconds

First time that I've ever seen such a thing in my life. Really hard to explain what the hell it was. I remember at the time thinking how strange it was and that it didn't seem real. Still got the picture in my mind, if only there were someway to get that picture onto film.

You've got it all wrong. Orbs are the souls of the departed, not UFOs.

Besides, any UFO would be spotted by half a million people, let alone the US and South Korean militaries, as well as probably North Korean, Japanese, and Chinese as well.

Don't know what I saw, but it was definitely strange. As for millions of people spotting it, I'm not so sure. It was gone in a matter of seconds. Unless I had caught it at the right time, I probably wouldn't have seen it either. I just managed to catch it at the right time. I just can't get over how smooth they were flying, complete control of their environment. I don't know if it was a UFO, optical illusion, but whatever it was, had complete mastery of its surroundings.

Space junk that flies horizontally and in perfect synchronization with other "space junk"? Don't think so.

You can't definitively identify the phenomenon?

*shrugs*

They were by definition UFOs.

Afterglow. Funny. People on this site take things way too seriously. Yes, I know, I'm trying to identify the unidentified Rolling Eyes . Sheesh. No wonder I don't post very often. Some of you have way toooooo much free time on your hands.

"UFOs" are commonly sited in rural areas in the US...because of the military bases there. since you're in rural Korea, it makes perfect sense.

most likely a US military aircraft. probably something top secret that's a few decades ahead of it's time.

Sure it wasn't a couple of kimbab wrapped in tinfoil flying of the back of a scooter? Go have a look it might still be edible.

The question is not whether UFOs exist.

The real question is why, unlike so many other countries, UFOs are rarely seen in Korea?

The answer, obviously, is because they are looking for intelligent life.

(And I'm afraid ESL teachers, as a rule, don't count.)

Why not?
Have you discovered some new law of physics?
If these 2 objects changed direction, then you may have something.
But if by 'synchronization', you jst meant 'side by side', then space junk is an entirely possible explanation. I've seen it myself.
