I know that has most likely been answered, but I can not find it.
I burned many DVD's on my old computer. Now I have a lap top that I bought in America, and none of them play. I get sound, but no picture.
I am having trouble trying to make this computer "region free".
THANKS. |

Windows Media Player is rubbish.
Download and install Videolan player (VLC).
Or, a more complete solution if you should want to watch Blu-ray discs at sometime, is to download and install CCCP (combined community codec pack). It's fantastic for any kind of video. Use the Zoom Player included in the CCCP pack.

Thank you eamo.
VLC did the trick! Now I wish I had saved all the movies I downloaded, not just a few! |
