(membership on Dave's is a joke to long-termers)

I often see "sages" on this site chatting about their "long-term" experience in Korea; and, many times they base that 'sage' experience on how many years they lived in the R.O.K..

In my case, I cannot claim permanent residency, but I first set foot here on the peninsula in November, 1978.... since then I can claim over 10 years living here....and I am here now...

you?

if *beep* means what I think it means then the answer is YES...

In my OP my meaning was a bit sketchy.

One thing that annoys me about this site is posters who assume that the sign up date for joining this chat room is indicative of a person's Korean experience. I was here in Korea long before this site existed; long before Al Gore invented the internet; even before Korea became a pseudo-democracy. Truth is, I was here before some of you "sages" were born... and yes that means i have a long *beep*, but due to long term Kimchi exposure I eventually quit waving it around.

Round One: 1993-94. Scored in Pizza's favor with a few jabs and a right.

Round Two: 2005 - present. Not going well for the 'ole Pizza as Korea's landed some big left hooks and an uppercut. He's a little punch drunk right now and a small cut above the right eye but it's under control. We'll see if he can pull thru or not.
