|
|
I am currently looking for a new job. I've gotten one offer from a well-reputed hagwon my friend works at,.
I could also pick up two part time gigs instead. With two part time gigs it looks like my salary would come out higher with the same amount of work.
I'd like to hear from people who work, or have worked, two part time gigs.
What are the pro's and con's compared to a good hagwon/public school job? What advice do you have for someone like me who will possibly be doing two part time jobs?
any info would be appreciated, thanks |

Immigration won't issue an E2 for a part-time job. |

Part-time:
Cons- no benefits, no pension, no severance, no healthcare, and no housing (for all I can think of)
Pros- paid in cash, no taxes, not trapped or tied down by the job.
Full-time:
Cons- tied down to the job, probably low hourly pay.
Pros- pension, severance (if not fired near end of contract), possibly plane ticket, healthcare, housing, legal if on E-2. |

a good hagwon is golden
